We want to make it as easy as possible for you to pay your rent, service charges and other charges, so we offer a variety of payment methods.

Please note that you cannot pay your garage rent online at present.

Pay by Direct Debit
Paying your rent by Direct Debit means no queuing in post offices or banks and no worrying about missed or late payments!
Pay by standing order
If you wish to pay your council rent or garage rent by standing order then you will need to download a Standing order application form.
Other ways to pay your rent
You can also pay your rent though the following ways:
- By PayPoint. You can pay at convenience stores, newsagents, supermarkets and service stations where you can see the Paypoint sign (cash only).
- At any Post Office using your PayPoint card together with your payment which can be debit card, cash or cheque. Please make any cheque payable to Post Office Ltd, and remember to write your 13 digit rent payment reference number on the back of your cheque.
- By deduction from your income. If you are an employee of Brent Council or Brent Housing Partnership, you can have your rent deducted from your pay.
- By credit card. You can pay by switch or credit card by phoning our credit card hotline on 020 8937 1717. You will need to choose the Housing Rents option and quote your 13 digit rent payment reference number.
