BHP run a Youth Board which gives young people the opportunity to get involved with us and to work towards producing the ‘Our Say’ magazine for young people.
Through the magazine and other projects which we run, young people have the freedom to express themselves about issues affecting youth within Brent and nationally. They will receive £20 expenses (if they are a Brent Council tenant) for attending meetings and can put their involvement on their CV and UCAS application forms.
The group is open to 13-19 years old who are residents of Brent.
It is is especially beneficial for those who are interested in media and community. Any young people who are interested in being on the Youth Board should contact the Communications Team.
The Youth Board also produce a youth blog and contribute regular posts to Brent Housing Partnership Youth blog site.
