Contractor selection panels
Before a repairs or service contract ends, Brent Housing Partnership consults with residents on re-tendering requirements. The contract is formally reviewed to look at what worked, what did not work well, how it could be done differently, how it is done elsewhere, how residents would like it to be done and whether it has provided value for money.
Resident representatives are invited to participate in panels to evaluate tender submissions for contracts affecting their homes or estates. This involves reading submissions, interviewing prospective contractors, visiting their offices or other sites where they are working.
