Once we have updated our records, the mandate will then be sent to your bank. Please do not send directly to your bank, as this may result in your account not being debited.

By post

You can pay by post by sending a cheque to:

Leasehold Services (Payments)
Brent Housing Partnership
6th Floor, Brent Civic Centre
Engineers Way
Wembley, HA9 0FJ

Please ensure that you write your name, address and account number (see your invoice) on the back of your cheque. Paid cheques are considered to be sufficient evidence of payment and receipts will only be issued if specifically requested and the cheque is accompanied by a copy of the invoice and a stamped self-addressed envelope. Cheques for major works must be made payable to London Borough of Brent otherwise the cheque will be returned to you.

By credit card

You can pay by Switch, Delta, Debit Card or Credit Card by telephoning our automated Credit Card Hotline on 020 8937 1717. When prompted, press 6 on your telephone keypad to pay service charges. Please ensure that you have your leasehold major works account number (this is the four digit number after FD86/6, as shown on the top of your invoice) and card details to hand. You will be given an official four digit receipt number at the end of the call.

Payment by online banking

By using the following bank details payments can be set up directly through your bank account into the Major Works bank account.

London Borough of Brent Central Income Account,
Account Number: 95711279,
Sort Code: 60-23-09

Please ensure that you quote your reference number which can be found at the top of your invoice, for major works it will begin FD86/6 followed by your unique account number. Payments made without a reference will not be allocated to your major works account.

Other payment options

For major works bills, the Council can make available loan facilities (so that the cost can be spread over a number of years (between 2 and 10 years depending on the amount). However such loans do attract interest at the local authority loan rate (which is normally higher than the high street lenders).

If you have a query on any matters related to payments please contact the Leasehold Management Team.
